The Hampstead Community Expo 2012, sponsored by the Hampstead Business Association (HBA), will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 (9am-3pm) at the North Carroll High School. This is the 29th year that we’ve held the Expo, a popular event involving the whole community, showcasing local businesses and with food and activities for children of all ages. Everyone gets involved!

The Carroll County Commissioners will conduct an open general meeting at the Hampstead Town Hall on Thursday the 26th of January at 6:30 PM. Everyone is invited to attend; this is your chance to see our Commissioners at work.

November and December include the participation of members with the Town of Hampstead in the Christmas Village on Fridays and Saturdays between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Providing Santa Claus, cookies and hot chocolate for the children, taking photos (proceeds to North East Social Action Program) get our members in the holiday spirit.
Santa will be in his House in the Santa’s Village in downtown Hampstead every Friday and Saturday in December until Christmas from 6pm – 8pm. Children are welcome to confer with Santa about what they’d like for presents and to have a keepsake photo taken with jolly old Santa. (Donations benefit NESAP, the North East Social Action Program.) We’ll have cookies and hot chocolate, too!
Looking for a fun and easy way to volunteer? Santa needs at least two helpers each evening. Let us know if you’d like to help us put smiles on the faces of the children of Hampstead!
