The Hampstead Business Association schedules several events each year that allow a time to meet and network that don't occur during regular business hours. Events are also sponsored to help the local community and participate in the events of the town.

November and December include the participation of members with the Town of Hampstead in the Christmas Village on Fridays and Saturdays between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Providing Santa Claus, cookies and hot chocolate for the children, taking photos (proceeds to North East Social Action Program) get our members in the holiday spirit.

Career Connections at North Carroll High School has been an exciting opportunity to help students learn more about the business world while still attending high school. We have participated in teacher shadow days at the school, conducted mock interviews for students, and many members have participated in the student intern work/study program.

Selecting a student from North Carroll High School to receive the $1,000.00 scholarship sponsored by the HBA is done in May of each year. The recipient will study in a business related field at a school in Maryland.
